Cybersecurity means protecting computers, networks, and data from thieves, hackers, and accidents. In Ghana and Nigeria, mobile money fraud is one of the biggest threats. Scammers send fake SMS messages pretending to be from MTN or AirtelTigo, tricking people into giving up their PINs. As a cybersecurity technician, your job is to stop these attacks.
Every business that uses computers — banks, hospitals, shops, schools — needs someone who understands security. This is not just about hacking. It is about protecting people's money, privacy, and trust. When a fraudster steals someone's mobile money, that could be a whole month's salary gone in seconds. Your work prevents that.
