Hard to see the screen
For learners with low vision: the strongest black-and-white the phone can show, thicker outlines and heavier letters.
Works with any text size. For the very largest words, choose “Biggest” above.
Hard to hear the lessons
For deaf and hard-of-hearing learners: nothing plays by itself, captions are bigger, and the whole lesson is there in writing.
Sound
Your phone reads lessons aloud on its own. That uses no data at all.
Ama, Kofi and Grace read your lessons. Each new lesson uses about 2 MB the first time, then plays free. Up to 250 recorded lessons a month.
Speaking speed
Voice control
Say “next”, “repeat”, “home” or “explore” instead of tapping. Beta — needs internet and microphone permission, and does not work on every phone.
Movement in lessons
Automatic picked still pictures for this phone. 1 cores
Discreet mode
Shows this phone a plain “Notes” title, keeps the welcome sound quiet, and adds a Leave button that swaps the screen for a weather page in one tap.
Data sharing
Share your lessons, hours, quizzes and activities with your centre leader and the Miva team. You can turn this off at any time.
