Logistics is the movement of goods from where they are made to where they are needed. Every product you buy — the rice in the market, the phone in your pocket, the cement for a building — traveled through a logistics chain to reach you. Logistics workers coordinate this movement: tracking shipments, managing warehouses, scheduling transport, and ensuring goods arrive on time and in good condition.
West Africa has massive logistics demand. Ghana's ports at Tema and Takoradi handle cargo from across the world. Togo's Port of Lomé serves landlocked countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. The ECOWAS trade corridor connects 15 countries. Every shipment needs someone to track it, document it, and coordinate its journey. That someone could be you.
